sa pṛṣṭastēna kastvaṃ bhō hētuśca āgamanētra kaḥ

saśōka iva kasmātvaṃ durmanā iva lakṣyasē। ॥18॥

He asked “ My dear, who are you? And what brings you here? Why do you look so sorrowful and dejected? Look at this! He is already in deep sorrow, he was already thinking about his kingdom and citizens, and nothing of being in the ashrama. He is asking the merchant, what is his problem?
