॥tvadanyaḥ pāṇibhyāmabhayavarado daivatagaṇaḥ
tvamekā naivāsi prakaṭitavarābhītyābhinayā|
bhayāttrātuṁ dātuṁ phalamapi ca vāñcchāsamadhikaṁ
śaraṇye lokānāṁ tava hi caraṇāveva nipuṇau
Now let’s look at individual padha vibhaga:
tvadanyah — Tat
anvayah – accepting yoursel
Panibhyam — By the gestures of the hand.
Abhaya Varado— protection and boon.
daivataganah— all deities
Tvameka — You alone can do it
Naivasi —- or not
Prakatitha Varabhityabhinaya —– giving boons to shelter
Bhayat —- from fear
Thratum —- protecting
Dhatum — giving
Phalam api cha — results
Vanchasamadhikam — more than what is desired.
Sharanye Lokanam — Shelter of the universe
Tava – You
Charau— At your feet.
Yeva —- By themselves
Nipunau —- well off
All other divinities grant protection and boons by hand gestures (mudras – Varada, abhaya mudra’s etc) which we don’t see in Rajarajeshwari devi. We see Pashankusha bana chapa – that is all there. O Devi! your feet alone is capable of providing protection from fear and granting more than what could be ever desired. It is a common belief that where is bhoga or enjoyment there is no moksha or liberation. Wherever there is moksha, there is no bhoga. To attain moksha one has to Sacrifice Bhoga. If one has to attain bhoga he must not think of moksha. But Devi promises otherwise where she provides both bhoga and moksha, enjoyment of the world, luxuries of the world, bhukthi, and mukthi. She offers comforts of life on the same platter because Shakthi is cosmic energy. Universal mother ensures us of Bhaya. Abhaya is freedom from fear. The freedom from fear is nothing but synonymous with moksha. The fear in us is ignorance. Because of fear, we will not know our own nature. She is Abhayadhayini (fear is gone) then we will come to know our real nature. Vara denotes total satisfaction in the fulfillment of desires. So Devi Shakti, the cosmic mother will fulfill both aspects of life at the same time. “Tvamekasi” indicates that no other deity, except the mother, can grant both enjoyment and liberation at the same time. The last mantra was the Kamaraja mantra. Verse 4 is the Kamakala mantra, which is initiated level in Srividya Upasana, once the sadhaka reaches a certain level in Srividya Upasana. Kamakala mantra is hidden in this mantra by which happiness in this life and moksha in this life or beyond life is ensured. Now let’s look at the benefit that this mantra has to offer along with the naivaidya to be offered to Devi.Removal of all Fears and Curing of Diseases.
Chanting procedure and Nivedyam( offerings to the Lord) : If one chants this verse 3000 times every day for 36 days and offers lemon rice as nivedhyam, it is said that all the fears are removed and gives solutions for all types of diseases.
