Before continuing our journey through the 27 Stars and their positions in 12 Zodiac signs let us learn little more on Ayanamsha.
We now know as to how important is the Ayanamsha in calculating a chart and more so 16 charts called Shodasha Vargas. As I mentioned before, now a days most of us have totally forgotten about considering these Shodhasha Vargas in giving results (Phala Nirupana). Instead, we have learnt to use new names to our Indian Astrology or Vedic Astrology to attract the clients.
We have started playing with the minds of people by coining new names to our Vedic Astrology / Indian Astrology.
It pains me a lot the way the Predictive Astrology is handled by us but we cannot remedy it unless our fellow citizens open their eyes.
I remember having posted on Face book the qualities of a people friendly and a true Astrologer mentioned in Brihat Samhita of Varamihira. He wrote 22 slokas and it runs to 16 pages including the English Translation by Pandita Bhushana V Subramanya Shastry & Vidwan Sri Ramakrishna Bhat.
I am attaching all these 16 pages as PDF for your reference and I wish this should be made known to common people.
I will mention just one sloka that is sloka No 15 which reads as ‘ PREDICTION MADE BY PEOPLE WHO ARE SORCERERS ( sorcerers means hyponotics, magicians, occult science practitioners, mamtrikaru, maatagararU) , fancy dresses also apply here) WHO ARE POSSESSED BY EVIL SPIRITS, AND WHO LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT THE SUBJECT IN QUESTION BY EAVESDROPPING AND BY EAR SAY, SHOULD ON NO ACCOUNT BE CONSIDERED FOR THEY ARE NO ASTROLOGERS – You will find the original sloka in the attachment.

WHO IS TRUE ASTROLOGER

Let us get back to the subject of Ayanamsha. As I mentioned in the last lesson that the Committee headed by Sri N C Lahiri did not implement the original findings of Sri N C lahiri, that is 50.2719 beginning from the year 289 CE but derived an Ayanamsha 22:27:37.7 as standard as on 1-1-1900 and from this point Ayanamsha calculated as 50.2719 seconds change per year.

Now let us see the differences between original Lahiri Ayanamsha and what is adopted from the year 1900. To know this, we should know how to calculate Ayanamsha.

From 285 CE the change per year is 50.2719 seconds. To find out Ayanamsha for 1-1-2020 AD. We must subsract 285 from 2020 which gives the number of years . That is 1735 years. Multiply this with 50.2719 to get 87221.7465 seconds or 87222 seconds. Convert this Degree, Minutes and seconds- We get 24-13-42. This is exactly the original ayanamsha propounded by Sri N C Lahiri.

Now let us see Lahiri Ayanamsha that is used by most of our soft wares. Reference point for this calculation is year 1900 and the Ayanamsha for 1900 is 22-27-37. Difference of years between 2020 and 1900 is 120.multiplying this by 50.2719 gives 628 seconds- Converting this to degree, minutes and seconds it is 1-40-32. Adding this to the reference value 22-27-37 for the year 1900, we get 24-08-09/10. If we need still precision, we can add 4.18 seconds for every month commencing from February 1 to this Ayanamsha.

With this we understand the difference of original Lahiri Auanamsha and the one accepted with reference year 1900 is 5 mins 32 / 33 seconds. This 5 mins plus makes a big difference while drawing Shodasha Vargas. Placement of Planets may change in some vargas due to this 5 Mins plus difference. 

To explain the difference in Lagna and other planers based on difference of just 29 seconds between KP New & Lahiri used by most of our soft wares I am attaching two charts drawn for to day 8-8-2020 at 6 AM and you will notice the same difference of 29 secs in Lagna and all other planets. It is left to your imagination as to how much difference it will be if we apply original Lahiri Ayanamsha and how it effects in other Vargas and dasa bhukti beginning & ending.

ASHTAKAVARGA CHARTS OF ALL THE PLANETS IS VERY IMPORTANT BEFORE JUMPING INTO GIVE RESULTS ON THE TRANSITS. VEDHA CAUSED BY OTHER PLANETS DURING TRANSITS WHICH WILL ALTER THE RESULTS OF TRANSIT. IT IS SAD THAT WE ARE GIVING PREDICTIONS, ADVISING EXPENSIVE REMEDIES WITHOUT CONSIDERING THESE FACTORS IN THE CHART AND PEOPLE ARE BECOMING PREY TO OUR TACTICS. WHEN THIS WILL END?
